Release Notes for App Version 3.2.5 and Management Console - 2nd September 2020

This Article will help clubs see the new features and functionalities releasing on the SHC Management Console and Club App

What’s New in Management Console?

  • Members Page Improvements - 
    • On the Manage > Members Page there is a new column called “Membership Type” where you can view the Membership Information based on the date from the Billing Company. 
  • Integrated Google Calendars
    • Detailed information about the New integrated Calendar has been sent by Ruchika in a different email after the Training. This is applicable only to clubs using Google Calendar. Click here to access collateral.
  • Added Ecommerce 
    • Clubs now have the option of limiting Bookings to certain membership types and adding prices associated with different classes on the app. 
    • Clubs can do this by using the E-Commerce section of the Create > Classes page.

  • Employee Membership Tiers
    • Clubs now have the ability to create a Membership tier for their staff members in the Management Console. They can do this by going to Create > Company > Membership Tiers and checking the box that reads “Create Club Staff Tier”. 
  • On Demand Video Service
    • On Demand Video can now be created from the Management Console. 
    • Clubs have the option to Upload videos and associate them to various types of classes on the Management Console. 
    • Clubs have the option of creating a video series of On Demand Video’s as well.

  • Differential/Preferential Bookings
    • Clubs now have the ability to set up Differential/Preferential bookings based on Membership Types on the Management Console. 
    • This way, clubs can limit certain classes from being booked on the app to only a set of Membership Types coming from the booking.

  • Differential/Preferential Bookings Window
    • Clubs can now set up various types of booking windows based on Membership Types on the Management Console.
    • This can be done by going to Create > Classes > Booking and setting various booking windows for different membership types.  
  • Profile Page Improvements
    • Clubs now have the ability to change more profile information for a trainer at the club. 
    • Under the Manage > Trainers page, club management can change the Gender and Profile pictures of the trainer which was previously not available. 

What’s New in the App?

  • Barcode Page: Upcoming Bookings shows Event Confirmation/Cancellation status
    • A member now has additional information available on the Home > Barcode page related to their bookings. The booking shows the Event Confirmation/Location of booking available. 
    • A member now has more access to cancelling a reservation. They do not need to go to the Event page to make cancellations for a reservation and can do it from the Home > Barcode page by selecting an upcoming booking and using the “Cancel Reservation” button. 
  • Periodic updates on Event Details Page
    • On the app, the event pages on the calendar refresh at a faster rate for improved member and staff experience. 
    • When a class is booked or cancelled, the calendar events refresh in real-time to update the Number of spots. 
  • Trainer Names on the “Trainers” Page 
    • The “Trainers/Instructors” page in each department now shows the Nickname of the trainer for a more interactive experience with members
  • Department Page Enhancements
    • On the app, if a department Director/Manager is not set up on the Management Console, an empty profile picture placeholder does not show up on the app improving member experience with each department. 
  • Improved Notification Text for Event Cancellation
    • When an event is cancelled on the calendar, the members who have made a booking will receive an automatic notification alerting them that the class has been cancelled with improved text enhancements. 
  • Manage Booking Enhancements 
    • When an instructor uses the “Manage Booking” option on the app, they have the ability to message the members who have made booking into the class by using the message button on the top right-hand corner of the “Manage Booking” screen.
