Release Notes for App Version 3.5.0 and Management Console - 30th December 2020

This release note covers what is new in the Management Console and App version 3.5.0.

What’s New in Management Console?

  1. Payroll Reports - 
    • A new filter has been added on the Manage > Reports > Payroll Reports page for Event Status allowing clubs to view complete and incomplete events.  
    • Now, the payroll reports will show the Full Name of the instructor instead of the Nickname. 
  1. Booking and Attendance - 
    • A new option has been added to Create > Company > Booking and Attendance called "Create Booking and Attendance Policies". This option allows clubs to create a separate set of Booking and Attendance policies for specific departments. This helps clubs with having different member booking frequencies, waitlist options, etc. for each department. 
    • The option to "Show Attendance Button" has been moved to this page. This option has now been renamed to "Show Attendance Button/Close Booking Window/Start Live Stream" since the time set on this section will show the instructors the "Mark Attendance", show the "Start Live Stream" button, and close the bookings for members on the Mobile App.  
    • Resource versioning - This has been added to avoid members being impacted when resource changes have been made. When the number of spots on a resource has been changed, this change will only be applicable on the calendar for the classes that do not have a booking. This has been done since if the number of spots on a class changed immediately, there may be members who get kicked out of a class. To know more, you can refer to this guide. 
  2. Members Page - 
    • The Manage > Members page can now search for members with an input of their barcode number. 
    • The Member Management popup now has the Member Name, MemberID, and Full Name information. 
    • Added a new column for Barcode. 
  3. Resource Page - 
    • The Create > Clubs > Resource page now has a new tabular view for all of the resources along with an Edit and Delete button available for each resource. 
    • The Edit and Add Resource buttons now open a pop-up page to customize the details of a resource. 
    • This page has been optimized for a smoother experience with existing bookings. If a resource layout/spots have been changed, they will only be applicable in the new events added to the calendar and will leave existing bookings unchanged. 
  4. Company Page - 
    • On the Create > Company page, the "Advanced Group Ex" tab has been renamed to "Instructor Substitution and Payroll". The options on this tab remain the same. 
  5. Mobile App Layout - 
    • There has been a new option added to the "Icons Per Row" menu, where a club can set this to '1', and the mobile app layout will turn into a List View for your members. 
    • There has also been an option added named "Show Icons" where clubs can choose to show or hide icons on the Mobile App. 

The Next Section is only applicable to clubs using the On-Demand Video Module. 

On-Demand Video
    • On the Create > Upload Video section of the Management Console, a new field has been added when creating video's called "Episode Name". This allows clubs to have custom names for specific videos grouped under one class. 
    • When grouping videos on the Create > Classes > On-Demand Video options section, the grouping options have been renamed to "Class Name/Video Name".

The Next Section is applicable to clubs using the SHC Integrated Google Calendar. 

Integrated Calendar - 
    • The Class Name, Instructor Name, and Resource Name will now change on the Google Calendar if any of them are changed on the Management Console fixing any mismatches that were occurring earlier. 
    • Calendar events will be deleted on the Google Calendar based if a class has been deleted on the Management Console. 
    • The integrated calendar has been optimized for a faster calendar refresh which was taking longer until our previous release. 

  Feeds Section - 

    • When making a post on the Management Console, clubs can now link a post to a Class, Product, Service, or Plan using the flyer function. This will allow clubs to link their posts to drive member engagement with Classes/Products/Plans/Services.  

What’s New in the App?

Calendar Events - 
    • The calendar events page on the Mobile App now shows the Start and End times of an event in every row. 
    • On the Calendar page, when filtered By Class, the app will now display more information when the "Show More" option is selected.
    • On the Calendar page, when filtered By Date, Instructor information has been optimized. 

The next section is applicable to clubs using the E-Commerce Module. 

E-Commerce -
    • When a user attempts to make a purchase on the app for a Class/Service and their ABC Account is not synced up, they will be taken to the Settings > App Sync page to sync up with their ABC Account. 
    • On the Home > Bookings and Orders page, the users will now have information regarding their session balances. 

The next section is applicable to clubs using the Live Streaming Module. 

  1. Live Streaming - 
    • A new pop up menu has been added on the streaming page for cameras. 
    • A user would be sent back to the details of the Live Streaming event after the duration of the live stream has ended. 
  2. Feed Pages - 
    • Earlier, if there were posts made on the Feeds page to multiple groups, members who are a part of more than 1 group would receive multiple posts and notifications for each group. This has now been fixed and the posts will be merged together if the same post has to be sent to more than 1 person. 
    • If a post is liked by 1 person it would be displayed as "<Member Name> has liked the post" and if the post is liked by more than 1 person it would show as "<Number of likes> has liked this post".
    • If a club uses the Flyer functionality on the Management Console while making a post, the Mobile App post will have a link taking the user to a Class/Service/Product/Plan. 
  3.  Mobile App Layout - 
    • Once the Mobile App layout has been changed to 1 icon per row, the mobile app would display a list view with icons. If the "Show Icons" section has been turned off, the app will display a list view with no Icons. 
  4. Notifications and Messages - 
    • Messages and Notifications will now have a clear distinction between Read/Unread Notifications and Messages. 
  5. Settings Page - 
    • On the Settings > Alerts section of the app, toggle switches have been replaced with checkboxes for more clarity. 
  6. Link Detection Fixes - 
    • Various types of links were not working earlier on the Feeds section of the app. Now, all links can be posted on the Feeds section and members can click on the links posted by a club and get redirected to the relevant webpage.
