Release Notes for Version 3.14 21st June 2022

This is a major Web and Mobile App release and it covers new features and enhancements across the platform.

What's new on the WebApp?

  • Non Member Purchases

    • The new SHC Non-Member Purchases section of the platform will allow you to create Services, Classes, Day/Guest Passes, and more for all of your Non-Members. 
    • You can sell these Non-member Services on the SHC Platform using the Web App, your Website, and your Mobile App.
    • This part of the SHC Platform will include the ability for non-members to purchase services and receive a QR code after making the payment. This QR Code can then be scanned by your Front Desk for verification. 
    • More information on how this is set up will be released shortly. 

Note - The above-mentioned Non-Member purchases section of the platform is exclusive to Stripe payments that are offered by SHC. 

  • Tennis 

    • Multiple Enhancements and changes have been made to the Tennis section of the SHC Platform. 
    • Front Desk and other staff members can now use the Create > Calendar page to track and view activities/bookings taking place on every Tennis Court. This includes any Tennis Clinics, Tennis Pro Lesson Bookings, or Court Rentals across the SHC Platform. 
    • A new Match Arranging section has been added to the Tennis section which will allow all members to create a dedicated Tennis Profile for themselves with information such as -
      • Availability times
      • Partner Preferences
      • NTRP Rating (This will also determine the partners found)
    • Setting up a Tennis profile will allow members to book Tennis courts and look for available partners based on the above-mentioned criteria. 
    • A new Courts report has also been added to the Manage > Reports page allowing clubs to get detailed information on all bookings taking place on each court. 
  • On-Demand Video

    • A new search bar has been added to the Create > Upload On Demand Videos section of the platform allowing you to easily search through through all of the episodes that have been uplaoded to the platform. 
    • While uploading a video, clubs can now name videos to a higher 64 characters on the Web App. 
    • Enhancements have been made to the On Demand Video reports on the platform for better accuracy with the amount of minutes watched by a member. 
  • Fitness Plans, Workouts and Exercises

    • On the exercise section, an enhancement has been made where clubs can now reach out to SHC to add custom Equipments and Weights for any exercise being created on the Platform. 
    • New Fitness Plans, Workouts and Exercises have been added to the SHC Library. 
  • E-Commerce 

    • There have been enhancements made on the Create > Company > Inventory section with bolder lines and differences between each inventory item. 
    • A new "Start From First Use" checkbox has been added next to sessions while creating inventory items allowing clubs to set the start date of a package based on the first time a member uses a session. 
  • Calendar

    • For the Availability based calendars used by Service Providers, a new "Add Event" button has been added which allows service providers to set up appointments with clients. 
    • This section also allows Trainers/Service Providers to automatically send a confirmation E-Mail to the client. 
    • A new "Cancel" button has been added on the Create > Calendar page which can be used to easily cancel a class and mark a class as cancelled on the calendar. 
  • Banners 

    • Banners on the SHC Platform can now be made location specific. This can be done using the Manage > Showcase > Banners section of the Web App where clubs can showcase and un-showcase banners in specific locations of their choice. 
  • Digital Marketing

    • There have been a few changes and enhancements made for the campaigns section of Digital Marketing. 
    • In addition to E-Mail's, you can now also send Push Notifications and Posts to all of your members in a campaign. 
  • Deep Links 

    • Deep links have now been added to multiple parts of the SHC Platform.
    • These are links that can be pulled for a Class, Service, Product or Plan on the SHC Platform and can then be used in multiple different places such as Campaigns, Group Posts, Promotions, E-Mail's and Push Notifications. 
    • Clicking on these links will take members to the relavent Class, Service, Product or Plan on the Mobile and Web App. 
    • A new section has been added on the Create > Clubs section called Deep Links where these links can be obtained. 

What's new on the Mobile App?

  • Tennis

    • On the Home > Profile page of the Mobile App, members have a new section called "Tennis" where they can set up their Tennis Profile including - 
      • Finding partners automatically
      • NTRP Ratings
      • Availability times across each day of the Week. 
      • Partner Preferences
    • While making a booking for a Tennis Court, members will be able to find partners automatically based on their Tennis Profile. 
  • On Demand Video

    • Multiple changes and enhancements have been made to the Mobile App for On Demand Videos. 
    • The Duration and Episode Name sections of the Mobile App have been enhanced for better visibility and legibility. 
    • Episodes now have a Watchlist and Ratings and Review sections that have been added which was previously limited only to the series/class.
    • The Search options on the Mobile App have also been enhanced to include filtered searches and searches across a larger set of criterias. 
  • Instructor Substitution and Payroll

    • A new feature has been added to the Instructor Substitution and Payroll section of the SHC Platform that allows instructors to delete their Sub requests once sent out. 
  • Calendar 

    • On the Calendar page of the Mobile App, changes have been made which allows members to use the "By Instructor" and "By Class" sorting options and jump to the Class Details or Instructor Details page straight from the calendar. 
    • These are custom pages that will show only class and instructor information without other information that allows further navigation. 
    • On the Group Ex All Locations calendar, the dropdown for multiple locations have been enhanced for better usability. 
  • Banners 

    • Arrows have been added to either sides of every Banner for easier scrolling between multiple banners on the Mobile App. 
  • E-Commerce 

    • On the Home > Orders and Bookings history page, a new "Purchase Again" button has been added allowing members to easily re-purchase a package/inventory item that they have purchased in the past. 
  • Booking and Attendance

    • Multiple changes have been made to the Guest Bookings section of the Mobile App. 
    • If a class allows guest bookings, members now have a new UI to make bookings for a guest. 
    • For staff members, the Manage Booking page will now allow clubs to add a First Name, Last Name and Phone number for any guests. 
  • Alerts

    • The Settings > Alerts page of the Mobile App is being completely re-vamped to now include options to turn on and off E-Mail's and Push Notifications for each section of the SHC Platform. 
    • This will allow for more personalization of Alerts and Push notifications for members.
