Release Notes for Version 3.15 - 20th October 2022

This is a major Web and Mobile App release and it covers new features and enhancements across the platform.

What's new on the WebApp?

  • E-Commerce

    • The E-Commerce section of the Web App has been completely revamped for a simpler and more efficient experience.
    • For Stripe users, a new section has been added in the Create menu called "Inventory and Promotions" replacing the current menu under the Create > Company > Inventory section for a dedicated space with all products and services sold on the SHC Platform.  
    • Under this new section, the following options have been added - 
      • Inventory Pools - This allows clubs to create a single Inventory/Package that can include multiple pricing options instead of having to create multiple inventory items for pricing options. 
      • Package Pools - Clubs can now create package pools from billing companies such as ABC, Jonas, Club Automation, and Paramount Acceptance. 
      • Promotions - This allows clubs using Stripe payments to create discounts and promotional items that can then be attached to any product or service sold through Stripe. These can also be promoted using the Digital Marketing module. 
    • The Create > Classes/Services/Products > E-Commerce sections have also been revamped for a simpler E-Commerce experience on the Web App.
    • Here, you can also Show/Hide different E-Commerce items under a class. This would allow clubs to -
      • Sell their products and services using a single Inventory item while letting members access multiple classes/services.
      • Discontinue selling a specific Inventory item while letting members who have already purchased inventory items continue using them. 
    • When saving a Class/Service, clubs will be able to apply E-Commerce settings to multiple locations at the same time. This would help save setup time significantly. 

NOTE -

1. This functionality is currently in Beta and we advise clubs to contact support@smarthealthclubs.com when using any of the above features. 

2. Some of the above-mentioned changes will only be applicable to Stripe Users. 

  • Redesigned Calendar Page

    • The Create > Calendar page has been completely redesigned on the Web App. 
    • The new Calendar will go Full Screen on the Web App with a whole host of new Colors, Buttons, and Pop-Ups. 
    • When hovering over an event, clubs will be able to view all the class details without clicking on the event itself. 
    • This will result in a smoother, friction-free, and easier-to-use experience for all clubs and calendars across all departments. 
    • The options used for Canceling and Deleting events have also been redesigned. 
    • Clubs can access this using the Create > Calendar V2 (Beta) section of the Web App. 

Note - This functionality is currently in Beta and we advise clubs to use the regular calendar page if there are any issues. You can report any such issues to support@smarthealthclubs.com

  • Redesigned Reports Page

    • The Manage > Reports page has also been completely redesigned on the Web App. 
    • This re-design also goes Full Screen with a large number of changes to the colors, pop-ups, and menu items across all reports. 
    • All reports have now been categorized on the left side of the new page. 
    • These categories can be expanded to bring out a large, full-screen report with all of the information on a single page. 
    • A new option has been added to all reports called "Edit Columns". This can be used to sort the reports in a way where clubs can customize the reports to their liking. 
    • All of these changes will result in a faster, friction-free, and easier-to-use experience for all reports across all departments. 
    • Clubs can access this using the Manage > Reports V2 (Beta) section of the Web App.
    • A new column has been added to the Orders report called "Location". This will ensure that clubs can track their purchases across all locations.

  • Tennis/Courts

    • The Re-designed Calendar page has been optimized significantly for the Tennis/Courts module of the SHC Platform. The Create > Calendar > Tennis (Resources) calendar can now be used for an enhanced Court Management experience by all staff members including the Front Desk. 
    • All Courts on the Calendar are arranged in a separate column which will display all events including Tennis Clinics, Tennis Pro Appointments, and Court Bookings in a color-coded manner. 
    • When creating a Tennis Clinic/Camp/Program, clubs can now select multiple courts to ensure that these clinics can be spread across multiple courts and are blocked out for any other bookings. 
    • A new section has been added to the Create > Company section called "Book a Court". This will allow clubs to - 
      • Set a rating system of their choice for Match Arranging on the SHC Platform. 
      • Set Booking Limitations to ensure fair Court usage amongst all members and partners. 
      • Set Front Desk management options. 
      • Send Court Booking reminders to members. 
  • Booking and Attendance

    • On the Create > Classes/Services > Booking section, clubs now have an option called "Remove Member Booking Frequency". This will allow clubs to remove the Booking frequency limitations set on the Create > Company > Booking and Attendance section for further customization. 
    • On the Create > Company > Booking and Attendance/Book a service provider/Book a court section, clubs can now set custom Booking Frequency limitations with the ability to limit bookings in a day or a time frame in hours. 
    • On the Create > Company > Booking and Attendance section of the Web App, a new option has been added called "Show number of spots only when x spots are remaining". This will allow clubs to show the class capacity only when a few spots are left. 
  • Hire a Trainer/Service Provider

    • Personal Trainers/Service Providers can now use the Create > About Me > Services and Payroll page and select a new option called "Service Booking Options". This will allow trainers to choose -
      • If they want members to book available time slots with them for Personal Training
      • If they want members to simply make PT purchases and schedule an appointment separately with them. 
  • Member Management 

    • A new option has been added to the Create > Company > Member Management section called "Show E-Mail Change option" allowing clubs to stop members from changing their E-Mail ID without consulting the Front Desk. 
  • Digital Marketing (Free module)

    • A new functionality has been added to the Campaigns section of the Web App where clubs using Stripe can now attach promotions and discounts created on the Create > Inventory and Promotions page to any campaigns they may be running with Deep Links. 
    • This would allow you to Create and market any promotional deals to all your members for them to claim. 

Note -  The above-mentioned changes are applicable to Stripe Users only.

What's new on the Mobile App?

  • Instructor Substitution and Payroll

    • For managers/directors approving substitution requests on the Mobile App, a new identifier has been added to the notifications section of the Mobile App making it easier for Managers/Directors to easily approve/disapprove open/pending sub requests. 
    • The "Show List" section of the Instructor Substitution notifications will now also show all instructors who have declined the sub requests. 
  • Alerts page

    • The Settings > Alerts page of the Mobile App has been completely revamped to give users and members more control over the notifications and E-Mail's that they receive for the events at the club. 
    • This will include customizations for notifications across - 
      • Class/Service Bookings
      • Instructor Sub and Payroll
      • Personal Training Bookings/Plans
      • Court Bookings
      • Feeds/Group notifications
  • Banners 

    • Since the clubs can now upload video Banners, a new interface has been added for members to view/playback and go full-screen with videos on the club page when linked to a Banner. 
  • Hire a Trainer/Service Provider

    • If a Trainer has chosen to allow members to purchase training sessions but not book available slots with them, members will see a new purchase page when they click on the Department > Trainers > Book a Session page allowing them to purchase a session and notify a trainer to set up an appointment.
