Release Notes for Version 3.16 - 10th May 2023

This is a major Mobile and Web App Release and it covers new features and Enhancements across the Platform.

What's new on the WebApp?

  • Family Accounts 

    • A new section has been added to all Classes and Programs under the In Person > Booking Tab that allows clubs to enable bookings for Family members in a Specific Class/Program. 
    • A new section has been added to the Member Profile of the Web App under Home > Profile that allows users to view and edit their Family information that comes directly from Billing Companies such as ABC, Club Automation, Jonas, and Motionsoft. 
    • Apart from Family information coming from the Billing Company, members can also create their own family accounts that may not be recorded on the Billing Company. 
    • A new section has been added for profiles that are "Child Accounts" called "Child Profile". This allows members to create an extended Child account with important information such as the Child's Parent/Guardian information, Allergies, Medications, Participation restrictions, and more. 
    • When Family Bookings are enabled for a Class/Program, members are shown a new "Book for Family Members" button on the Class/Program page of the Web App. 
    • This button allows users to pick one or more family members and book spots for them at the same time. 
    • A new page has been added under the "Manage" dropdown of the Web App called "Family Groups" which allows clubs to view the details of all families created on the platform.

2. This feature can be used on both the Web and Mobile App. 

  • Programs

    • The Programs section of the Web App has been completely re-vamped and has now added multiple new Booking, Pricing, and Customization options. 
    • Clubs can now - 
      • Set a specific date and time to open bookings for multiple Cohorts/Sessions in a Program. 
      • Have a different registration and booking date for Members/Non Members
      • Allow single event bookings in a Program with Prorated pricing. 
    • A new "Manage Booking" button has been added for each Cohort/Session of a Program on the Web App that allows clubs to Book, Cancel and Manage any Bookings for a Program through the Web App. 
    • Members and Non Members can now book one or more Family Members into a Program through the Web App. 
  • Front Desk Bookings and E-Commerce

    • The "Manage Booking" page has been completely revamped on the Mobile and Web App for Paid/Fee Based Classes, Programs and Services. 
    • When the Front Desk/Managers are making a Booking for a member into a Paid/Fee Based Class, Program or Service, they will be given 3 new options - 
      • Book the member for free without a charge  - This option will book the member without a charge. 
      • Book the member and send Payment Link - This option will book the member and send the member a link where they can complete the payment for the Class/Service. 
      • Book the member and collect in Club Account - This option will book the member and allow clubs to collect the charges in the Billing Company later. The details of these bookings will be available on the Orders reports. 
    • Clubs using Stripe payments can now process Partial Refunds for any payments made by a user on the Manage > Reports > Orders page of the Web App. 
  • Staff Payroll

    • All of the Payroll options on the Smart Health Clubs platform has been completely re-vamped. 
    • The Create section of the Web App now has a new option called "Staff Payroll" which will have all of the data for all clubs in a single place including - 
      • Special Class Pay's
      • Special Service Pay's 
      • Hourly Pay's
      • Commission Pay's
    • This above data can then be applied to any Trainer/Instructor using the Manage > Instructors and Trainers > Payroll section.  
    • A new option has also been added to the "In Person" sections of Classes, Programs and Services called "Staff Payroll" that allows clubs to decide if they want to pay Instructors, Trainers and Service providers a Fixed pay or Commission based pay. 
    • A new report has also been added under the Manage > Reports page of the Web App called "Commissions" which shows the breakdown of Commission pays for all services, instructors and trainers on the Platform.

  • Booking and Attendance

    • A new option called "Remove Member Booking Frequency Limit" has been added to the Booking tab of the Classes section that allows clubs to create exceptions for certain classes that can be booked outside of the Booking Frequency Limit. 
    • A new option called "Show Class Roster" has been added to the Booking tab of the Classes section that allows clubs to enable an option that will show all members the already booked members of a class. 
    • A new option called "Booking is relative to the start of the day" has been added to the Booking tab of Classes and Services that opens the booking window at the beginning of the day for when the booking window is set for. 
    • A new option has been added to the Create > Company > Booking and Attendance section of the Web App called "Automatically Mark Attendance" that automatically marks attendance for users who have checked in to the club on a day. This option will only work for clubs with ABC, Jonas, Motionsoft and Club Automation. 
  • Co-Coach Functionality

    • A new option has been added on the Create > Calendar > Add Event page of the Web App that allows clubs to assign more than 1 Instructor/Coach to a class. 
    • When scheduling a class with more than 1 Instructor, clubs can decide their Pay Rate in a %value to ensure that the Instructors are paid the amount needed. 
  • Calendar 

    • A new option has been added to the Create > Calendar > Event page of the Web App where clubs can adjust the number of spots in a Class/Program on the Calendar level for a specific class. 
  • Reports 

    • A new column called "Membership Type" has been added to the Member Booking Report that allows clubs to view the Membership Type of the member making the Bookings. 
    • A new report called "Commissions" has been added to the Services section of reports that will have detailed information about the commissions that need to be paid to each Instructor, Trainer for Classes, Services and Programs. 

What's new on the Mobile App?

  • Family Accounts

    • The same profile page also allows users to add information for their Child's Extended Profile. 
    • When Family Bookings are enabled for a Class/Program, members are shown a new "Book for Family Members" button on the Class/Program page of the Mobile App. 
    • This button allows users to pick one or more family members and book spots for them at the same time. 
    • On the Profile page, members can also Add/Delete family members from their account. 
  • Fitness Plans 

    • When a user is following a Fitness Plan/Workout, a new timer has been added that will show the user how long they should take to complete an exercise along with a timer for rest times between exercises. 
  • Login Page

    • The login page of the Mobile App has been enhanced to create consistency between the Login and Sign Up options. 
  • Feeds and Groups

    • The Create Post option has been re-vamped for a more friendly user experience when a club is creating posts for Private and Public groups.
