Release Notes for Version 4.1 - May 2024

This is a major Mobile and Web App Release and it covers new features and Enhancements across the Platform.

What's New on the Web App?

  1. Calendar

    • Resource Reordering - The resource numbers on the Create > Calendar > Department (Resources) page will now be ordered automatically in serial order. Additionally, all the equipment will be selected upon choosing a Resource. For example, selecting Outdoor courts will select all Outdoor courts. 

    • Front Desk and staff members can now Manage Booking through the Calendar page. The Manage Booking option is shown under all the Classes and Programs events scheduled on the Events calendar under Create.
  2. Reports

  • We have added more data values (Booked spots, unbooked spots, and waitlisted spots) for better reporting under the Program Booking Report making it easier for Club Management to get an overview of the bookings. This report can be accessed by going to Reports > Classes And Programs > Program Booking Report
    • We have added a new report to our system called the Appointment Booking Report.
      1. This report provides a comprehensive overview of all appointments booked on the platform, including Private and Semi-Private services. 
      2. This report can be accessed by going to Manage > Reports > Services > Appointment Booking.

  1. Guest Bookings
    • We have added an option to collect email information for Guest Bookings of any classes, services, or programs.
  1. Booking Policies

    • Clubs can now create customized booking policies based on the type of classes, services, courts, and equipment bookings they offer. Under Create > Company,
      1. Clubs can set up separate policies for Classes and Programs.
      2. Clubs can create policies for Services or Book a Service Provider.
      3. Clubs can create policies for Courts and Equipment Booking. 
  2. Staff Only Department Showcase

    • Clubs can now Choose to Turn On a Specific Department For Staff Only. This is primarily to ensure that clubs can comprehensively test a department's member-facing functions before opening it up to all members. These settings can be checked under Create > Clubs > Department Information  > Click on a Department > Check option - Show to staff members only.

  3. Purchases

    • Clubs can now set up a recurring charge on a Weekly/Bi-Weekly basis. The charge once set up will be billed for members automatically. This option can be set up when creating either an Inventory item or a Package Pool ( using the Billing Company ) under Create > Inventory and Promotions.
  4. Prime Time/Non-Prime Time/Early Bird Court Bookings

    • SHC now provides the ability to set up Early hours, Peak or Prime Hours, and Non-Prime Hours based on the popularity of a Service or Resource.
    • This setting can be found under Create > Services > Select a Service > In-Person > Booking > Booking Duration Table.
  5. Booking Equipment Services

    • Members can now book any equipment on the platform using SHC's Availability Calendar, similar to court bookings.
      1. SHC allows clubs to set up services and attach them to resources such as tanning beds, recovery machines, swim lanes, childcare rooms, etc. similar to courts.
      2. Clubs can set up the equipment to be bookable on the app based on availability. This can be set up under Create > Calendar > "Department Name"(Resources) calendar.
      3. Members can purchase sessions and book equipment through the web or mobile app.
      4. Clubs can set up Policies under Create > Company > Book an Equipment or Court Policies.
  6. Guest Pass

    • We have introduced a new feature called Guest Pass for non-members specifically!
    • The Guest pass allows the non-members and their Family members to experience and enjoy the facilities and services of a club for a limited period.
    • Services now have the option for a Guest pass or Day pass which can be check-marked to enable that Service to be used with a Guest Pass.
    • The non-members can now buy Day Pass or Guest Pass set up as Packages and Redeem them. The Front Desk can verify the Validity through the Manage > Non-Member page.

What's New on the Mobile App?

  1. Appointment Bookings/Charges using the Staff Calendar

    • Trainers can now make Proxy bookings and schedule an appointment for any Services such as Private Lessons, Pilates Sessions, etc. using the Staff only Calendar.
    • The Staff Calendar now provides a similar view of the Web App through which these tasks become easier to manage on the go.
    • The Front Desk is now able to make court bookings from the Calendar Page and create appointments for court bookings for up to four members. When using the Tennis (Resources) calendar, the Front Desk and staff members/trainers can click the "Add Event" option to select up to four members, and the charges will be split according to the prices attached to the service.

                                                                                             
  1. Member Profile

    • The profile page on the mobile app now displays the Membership Type and Membership Status, enabling members to verify the accuracy of their data.

  2. Booking an Equipment 

    • Members can now book equipment on the platform, similar to court bookings. SHC now allows clubs to set up services and attach them to different resources such as tanning beds, recovery machines, swim lanes, childcare rooms, etc., and have them bookable on the app based on availability. 
      1. Members can select a Service under the Department.
      2. Purchase sessions of the Services.
      3. Select an Equipment to Book.
      4. Complete the Payment or use the sessions purchased.
      5. Book equipment through the web or mobile app.
