Release Notes for Version 4.4 - July 2025
This is a major Mobile and Web App Release and it covers new features and Enhancements across the Platform.
Web App Enhancements
1. New Reports
Deferred Revenue Report
A new report is now available under Manage > Reports > E-Commerce that displays all positive session balances held by members across departments. The report clearly separates realized revenue from deferred revenue for all packages sold on the SHC platform.

Staff Payroll Report
A unified payroll report has been introduced to streamline staff compensation tracking. It combines all applicable pay types—including hourly, fixed, and commission—into a single report. Additional tools have been added to download the report with subtotals, export it as a PDF, or send it via email.

2. E-Commerce
Updated Purchase Process via Manage > All Users
The purchase workflow has been revamped. Clubs will now first select a department before choosing the inventory item—making it easier to locate and charge for the right package or service.
Improved Session Refunds
The ability to return or refund sessions now supports all class and service types, including Group Classes, Private and Semi-Private Appointments, and Equipment Bookings.
The Create > Calendar page has been enhanced to clearly show refunded/cancelled appointments and the associated session data.
Multi-Department Inventory Items
Inventory items can now be assigned to multiple departments from the Create > Inventory and Promotions page, improving flexibility in how packages are offered and categorized.

3. Department Information Segmentation
New toggles have been added under Create > Clubs > Department Information to control where services appear in the Mobile and Web App. Appointment Services, Court Bookings, Equipment Bookings, and Regular Services can now be shown under distinct sections instead of all being grouped under “Services.”

4. Smart Appointment Enhancements
A new checkbox has been added under Create > Company > Book a Service Provider that allows Front Desk and Managers to book appointments outside a trainer’s availability. This is an optional override setting that gives clubs more scheduling flexibility.

5. Smoothie Now on Web App
Smoothie Now ordering is now fully supported on the Custom Web App. Additionally, members can opt to receive SMS order status updates—ideal for those not using the Mobile App (which offers push notifications).

6. Past Booking Support
Clubs can now manage bookings, cancellations, and attendance for events that occurred within the past 30 days across all class and service types. Key enhancements include:

Court Bookings
Clubs can now edit, cancel, and manage participants for court bookings up to 30 days in the past. All related charges and refunds will be handled automatically by the platform. -
Programs
For programs that started within the past 30 days, clubs can use Create > Calendar > Event > Manage Booking to add or cancel members as needed.
All relevant reports and payroll calculations have been updated to reflect these changes.
7. Club Automation Family Details
For Club Automation customers, family information on member profiles will now update dynamically. Each time a member accesses the Family section on the Web or Mobile App, the platform will automatically fetch and display the most recent data from Club Automation.
8. Paramount Acceptance Integration
All Sales Hub and E-Commerce functions are now fully supported for customers using Paramount Acceptance as their billing provider.
9. Program Enhancements
To reduce confusion, all Program booking and payment options have been removed from the Mobile App > Calendar tab. These actions will be done exclusively through the Programs section of the Web and Mobile App. The calendar view remains available for viewing purposes only.
Additionally, all date formats on the Web and Mobile App have been updated to use a consistent Month-Day format.
10. Manage Booking Page Enhancements
New sorting options have been added to all Manage Booking pages. Clubs can now sort rosters by:

Name

Chronological booking order

Equipment number (if applicable)

Age
11. Calendar Enhancements (Trainers & Resources)
The Create > Calendar page has been enhanced for both Trainers and Front Desk users:

The Add Event page now displays the last 5 used services and resources at the top of the selection list.

Appointment status and payment status are now more clearly displayed for each booking.
12. Semi-Private Appointments on Web App
Semi-Private Smart Appointment booking is now fully supported on the Custom Member-Facing Web App.
Mobile App Enhancements
1. Instructor Substitution
Instructors who volunteer for classes can now update their decision until the substitution request has been approved. A new interface has been added under the notifications section of the Mobile App to enable this action.
2. Cancellation Notifications
Trainers and service providers will now receive real-time notifications when a client cancels a Private or Semi-Private Appointment—ensuring better communication and schedule awareness.
3. Staff Calendar Enhancements
The Staff Calendar under Mobile App > Dashboard > Staff Calendar has received several key updates:

Cancelled appointments are now displayed more prominently, making it easier for trainers and staff to identify changes to their schedules.

All enhancements made to the Create > Calendar page—such as improved booking and payment status visibility and dropdowns showing recently used services and resources—are now fully supported on the Mobile App as well.
